Lucas Vazquez considering Qatar move

According to MARCA, Lucas Vazquez is considering his Real Madrid future after reportedly receiving a big money offer from an unnamed Qatari club. The Galician wants to take some time to consider the offer and Real Madrid wont stand in the players way.

Lucas has one year left on his contract with Real Madrid and it seems unlikely that he will be offered a new deal. The 29-year-old is still part of Zinedine Zidane’s plans for the coming season. The Frenchman however, wouldn’t mind the player getting sold if that means the club can get a decent amount from a transfer.

Both Tottenham and Napoli were linked with Lucas Vazquez earlier this summer but no official bid was made from either side.

The Real Madrid academy product made just 23 appearances in all competitions last season racking up a total of 1029 minutes. With player’s like Rodrygo, Asensio and now Odegaard all vying for the right-wing position, its difficult to see how Lucas will get any game-time this season.

Real Madrid will be looking to sell Lucas this summer rather than letting him leave for free in 2021.
