What’s next for Gareth Bale?

The new LaLiga season gets underway in a week’s time. One thing that hasn’t changed is Bale’s situation at Real Madrid. Gareth was recently on International duty with Wales and participated in both of their matches against Finland and Bulgaria in the UEFA Nations League. Since coming back from International duty, the Welshman has yet to take part in team training. Gareth has been suffering from a knock to his knee that’s restricted him to working in the gym.
It’s clear that Gareth Bale is not in Zinedine Zidane’s plans. Both Gareth and the higher ups at Real Madrid know that. Despite the fact he’s surplus to requirements, Bale still insists that he’s happy and will only move on if Real Madrid pay him the full amount left on his contract. With less than a month left before the transfer window shuts, it seems unlikely that a solution will be found. Real Madrid have received no offers for the Welshman due to his massive wage demands, something that he’s not willing to budge over.
The next few days and weeks will certainly be filled with rumours over Bale’s future and Zidane will once again be asked repeatedly on the situation. Will a solution be found? Will Gareth Bale leave Real Madrid? These are all questions that we’ll have answers to on the 5th of October once the transfer window closes.
