Real Madrid Transfers – Summer 2022/23
Real Madrid have conducted their transfer business pretty early on this season, having already secured the services of Aurélien Tchouaméni and Antonio Rüdiger. The French midfielder has joined Los Blancos from AS Monaco in a deal worth €80M, while Antonio Rüdiger has signed from Chelsea on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with the Premier League club.
In terms of outgoings, Gareth Bale, Marcelo and Isco have all left the club following the expiration of their contracts. Luka Jović has joined Fiorentina on a free transfer but Real Madrid retain a 50% sell-on clause.
Takefusa Kubo has signed for Real Sociedad on a permanent transfer but Real Madrid retain 50% of the rights to the player. Mario Gila’s move to Lazio and Miguel Gutiérrez’ move to Girona were both structured in the same way, Los Blancos have retained 50% of the players’ rights.
Despite desperately needing a backup striker, Real Madrid have sold Borja Mayoral to Getafe. Antonio Blanco has joined Cádiz on a season-long loan deal.
The latest player to leave the club this summer is non other than Casemiro. The Brazilian has joined Manchester United in a deal worth €70M guaranteed plus another €15M in performance related add-ons.
