Player ratings:

Starting XI:

Thibaut Courtois: 9/10

Third consecutive start for Courtois in LaLiga. The Belgian made an impressive ten saves and looks increasingly likely to start the Champions League final.

Dani Carvajal: 7/10

Solid performance from the Spaniard who did his defensive work well.

Eder Militão: 7/10

Militão looked a lot more comfortable than he has over the past few games as he continues to work towards full fitness. With two more games left before the Champions League final, the Brazilian could challenge Nacho for a starting spot against Borussia Dortmund.

Nacho Fernandez: 7/10

Handled Samu fairly well and showed confidence on the ball when in possession. Overall, a solid performance.

Ferland Mendy: 7/10

Took on more of a shielding role, but excelled in one-on-one situations.

Fede Valverde: 8/10

Covered a lot of ground, as he usually does. The Uruguayan also took a few shots at goal, and smashed one in from range.

Eduardo Camavinga: 8/10

A beautiful display of skill set up Vinicius’ goal. The Frenchman controlled possession well and won his tackles brilliantly. A classy performance in the heart of midfield.

Toni Kroos: 8/10

A typical Kroos performance. The German pinged the ball around from central midfield, completing 97% of his passes. Kroos assisted Bellingham’s opener with a sensational cross. What a player.

Jude Bellingham: 9.5/10

What a performance from the Englishman and what a season he’s had. Jude opened the scoring with a brilliant finish before assisting both Valverde and Vinicius.

Rodrygo Goes: 7/10

Embarked on some intricate runs, crafted two opportunities and was unlucky not to score.

Vinicius Jr: 9.5/10

Another brilliant performance from the Brazilian who continues to rack up goals and assists on a regular basis. A relentless force down the left wing.

Arda Güler: 7.5/10 – Came on to replace Camavinga. Arda scored his fourth LaLiga goal with a wonderful finish. What a talent.

Antonio Rüdiger: 7/10 – Came on to replace Eder Militão and wasn’t tested.

Dani Ceballos: 6/10 – Came on to replace Toni Kroos with fifteen minutes to go.
