Player Ratings: Granada 0-4 Real Madrid – 2023/24

Real Madrid maintained their impressive form with a comfortable 4-0 victory over Granada on Saturday evening.

Having already secured the LaLiga title, Carlo Ancelotti rested most of his key players to ensure they are fresh for the Champions League final.

Two goals from Brahim Diaz, along with goals from Arda Güler and Fran Garcia, secured Real Madrid’s sixteenth consecutive win against Granada.

Player ratings:

Starting XI:

Thibaut Courtois: 7/10

Started for the second time since recovering from injury. The Belgian made a number of good saves in the first half and doesn’t look to be showing any rustiness.

Lucas Vazquez: 7.5/10

A very good performance from the Galician who was solid in defence, won his duels, and created a couple of good goalscoring opportunities.

Antonio Rüdiger: 7/10

A relatively solid performance for the German who was rarely tested throughout the seventy minutes he spent on the pitch.

Eder Militão: 6/10

Started alongside Rüdiger once again. The Brazilian didn’t look all too comfortable out there but the additional ninety minutes under his belt is a big positive.

Fran Garcia: 8.5/10

Fran Garcia’s best performance in a Real Madrid shirt. The Spaniard scored his first goal for Los Blancos and also assisted Güler for Madrid’s second goal. Impressive display.

Luka Modric: 7.5/10

Another dominant display from the timeless Croatian. Modric was excellent on the ball and assisted Brahim Diaz for the fourth goal of the game. Earned himself another standing ovation away from home.

Eduardo Camavinga: 7.5/10

Brought some midfield aggression and was crucial in the early stages when Madrid didn’t have a lot of control. The Frenchman was rarely outplayed in individual duels and advanced the ball effectively.

Dani Ceballos: 7/10

A decent performance from the Spaniard who was tidy on the ball and registered an assist for Brahim’s first goal. A good shift from a player who’s barely played this season.

Arda Güler: 8/10

A third consecutive start for Arda Güler in LaLiga, and he made the most of it by scoring once again. Good to see him get another ninety minutes of playtime.

Brahim Diaz: 9.5/10

Consistently magnificent. The winger dribbled forward frequently, scored goals beautifully, and passed at the right moments. Two goals and an assist for Brahim today which take his tally to 12 goals and 7 assists for the season. Superb.

Joselu: 6/10

After his heroic performance against Bayern on Wednesday, Joselu started today’s game. The Spaniard was ineffective in front of goal and missed a number of clear cut chances.

Nacho Fernandez: 7/10 Came on to replace Antonio Rüdiger. The captain was solid since his introduction.

Toni Kroos: 6.5/10 Came on to replace Luka Modric.
