Real Madrid face Celta Vigo on Saturday night with the aim of securing back-to-back wins at the start of their 2022-23 LaLiga campaign.

Ancelotti’s men kicked off their title defence with a 2-1 victory over newly-promoted Almeria last time out, while Celta started their season with a 2-2 draw at home to Espanyol.

Dani Carvajal missed last Sunday’s game against Almeria with a muscular problem but has recently returned to training and should be ready to face Celta.

Rodrygo also missed the last game with a muscle injury. The Brazilian is back in training but isn’t fit enough to be part of the matchday squad. Toni Kroos is suffering with flu and Odriozola hasn’t been called up with the Spaniard looking for a new team before the end of the transfer window. Casemiro is on the verge of joining Manchester United and won’t feature.
