Player ratings:

Starting XI:

Andriy Lunin: 4/10

After a heroic performance against Manchester City, Lunin was the absolute opposite of that against Barcelona. The Ukrainian was at fault for both of Barca’s goals in what was a forgettable display.

Lucas Vazquez: 9/10

An incredible performance from the Galician who was involved in all three of Real Madrid’s goals. Vazquez won the penalty for the opener, scored Real Madrid’s second and assisted Bellingham’s winner. Brilliant.

Antonio Rüdiger: 7/10

Another solid performance from the German. Can’t really be faulted for either of Barca’s goals.

Aurélien Tchouaméni: 7/10

Won his tackles and handled Lewandowski decently well. Another solid display from the Frenchman.

Eduardo Camavinga: 6/10

Started at left-back with Mendy not being fit enough to feature. The Frenchman struggled to contain Yamal down the left flank.

Fede Valverde: 7/10

Fede Valverde did not stop running and kept things tidy at the base of midfield, completing 92% of his passes.

Toni Kroos: 7/10

Toni Kroos was visibly tired which is to be expected after the huge effort against Manchester City but he pinged the ball around well, completing 98% of his passes.

Luka Modric: 7/10

Started what could possibly be his last Clasico. The Croatian was excellent on the ball and put in a shift defensively.

Jude Bellingham: 8/10

The difference maker once again having scored the all-important winner. The England superstar also had the most tackles and dribbles completed after yet another brilliant all-round display.

Rodrygo Goes: 6.5/10

Caused Barcelona some problems in the first half but faded after the break.

Vinicius Jr: 7.5/10

Made no mistake from the spot to bring Real Madrid level at the break. The Brazilian assisted Vazquez for the second goal and should’ve had another goal or two had it been for some better decision making in the final third.

Substitutions:

Fran Garcia: 6/10 – Came on to replace Camavinga. The Spaniard put in a decent shift off the bench.

Brahim Diaz: 7/10 – Came on to replace Toni Kroos. Brahim made a difference off the bench and played his part in the winner.

Eder Militão: 6/10 – Came on to replace Rodrygo with 15 minutes to go.

Joselu: N/A – Came on to replace Vinicius late on. The Spaniard played a nice dummy in the build-up to Bellingham’s late winner
