With one title in the bag, the Champions League is now what will define Madrid’s season. Los Blancos’ attention turns to Tuesday’s first-leg of their Champions League semifinal against Manchester City.
Player Ratings: Real Madrid 2-1 Osasuna – Copa del Rey final 2022/23

Real Madrid win the Copa del Rey for the 20th time thanks to a Rodrygo double. Carlo Ancelotti’s men managed to hold off a brave Osasuna side to win their first Copa del Rey since 2014.
Player ratings:
Starting XI:
Thibaut Courtois: 7/10
Nothing the Belgian could do to stop Torro’s brilliant goal. The Belgian made a number of decent saves when Real Madrid were under pressure.
Dani Carvajal: 8/10
Made a number of huge blocks and goal line clearnaces. The Spaniard was back to his best, completely nullifying Abde and showing up when his team needed him the most. Excellent.
Eder Militao: 6.5/10
Looked shaky yet again. The Brazilian’s form has dropped off in recent weeks and that continued tonight. Far from his best.
David Alaba: 7/10
Made a number of crucial blocks and was solid at the back throughout. Unlucky not to have scored after striking the woodwork with a brilliant free-kick from 30 yards out.
Eduardo Camavinga: 7/10
Vinicius Jr: 9/10
Substitutions:
Antonio Rüdiger: 6/10 – Came on to replace Alaba who only just returned from injury.
Luka Modric: N/A – Came on to replace Toni Kroos late on.
Marco Asensio: N/A – Came on to replace Rodrygo late on.
