Player Ratings: Osasuna 2-4 Real Madrid – 2023/24

Vinicius Junior scored two goals and was joined by Dani Carvajal and Brahim Diaz on the scoresheet as Real Madrid asserted their dominance in LaLiga with a 4-2 victory over 10th-placed Osasuna.

Fede Valverde played a crucial role in the match, providing three assists as Carlo Ancelotti’s team edged closer to reclaiming the LaLiga trophy.

Player ratings:

Starting XI:

Andriy Lunin: 7/10

Made a brilliant save to deny Arnaiz in the first half. Not much he could do to deny Budimir at the back post.

Dani Carvajal: 7/10

Started the game relatively poorly with his clearance resulting in Osasuna’s first goal. Significantly improved after a string of early errors and gave his side the lead in the first half with a delicious outside of the boot finish.

Aurélien Tchouaméni: 7/10

A comfortable game for the Frenchman who partnered Rüdiger at the back once again.

Antonio Rüdiger: 7/10

Just like Tchouaméni, Rüdiger had a solid game at the back. The German made some sensational passes throughout the game.

Ferland Mendy: 6/10

A relatively quiet game from the Frenchman who didn’t offer much going forward and wasn’t threatened very often in defence.

Fede Valverde: 9/10

Fede Valverde has had a brilliant season and his performance against Osasuna might’ve been the best so far. The Uruguayan was all over the pitch and assisted three of Real Madrid’s four goals in what was another fantastic shift.

Toni Kroos: 7.5/10

A very comfortable outing for the German who pulled the strings with his passing. Toni completed 65/67 (97%) passes and was key once again.

Eduardo Camavinga: 7/10

Followed up his brilliant performance against Celta Vigo with another solid shift alongside Toni Kroos in the middle of the park. The Frenchman’s energy was crucial once more.

Brahim Diaz: 7/10

Brahim was very quiet in the first half but grew into the game after the break. Scored a well-taken goal after a great run in the second half.

Rodrygo Goes: 6.5/10

Another difficult outing for the Brazilian who’s struggling in front of goal. Rodrygo came close to scoring late on and looked a lot sharper after the break.

Vinicius Jr: 8.5/10

The difference maker for Real Madrid once again. The Brazilian was brilliant in front of goal and was a nightmare for Osasuna throughout. Picked up a yellow that will see him miss the next match against Athletic Club – the only blemish on his day.

Substitutions:

Nacho Fernandez: 6/10 Came on to replace Eduardo Camavinga.

Luka Modric: 6.5/10 Came on to replace Brahim Diaz.

Lucas Vazquez: 6.5/10 Came on to replace Toni Kroos.

Fran Garcia: N/A Came on to replace Ferland Mendy late on.

Arda Güler: N/A Came on to replace Vinicius Junior late on.
