Real Madrid injury update – November 2021
Dani Ceballos suffered two ligament ruptures to his ankle during the opening match of the Olympics vs Egypt on the 22nd of July. The Spaniard is making good progress with his recovery but is yet to return to group training. He’s now expected to return to action in December.
Fede Valverde sprained his knee during El Clasico. The Uruguayan was expected to be sidelined for around two weeks but his recovery took longer than expected. Ancelotti has confirmed that he expects Fede to be back in time for the match against Sevilla.
Gareth Bale hasn’t played for Real Madrid since August due to a hamstring complaint but represented his country during the recent internationals. Bale played 45 minutes in Wales’ 5-1 victory against Belarus on Saturday and picked up a calf injury. According to COPE, the Welshman will be sidelined for a minimum of three weeks.
