Real Madrid injury update – February 2023

Thanks to the endless amount of fixtures and thin squad size, Real Madrid have been hit by a number of injuries recently.
Thibaut Courtois picked up an injury in the warmup ahead of Real Madrid’s game against Mallorca on Sunday. According to Marca, the Belgian is expected to miss up to three games. His objective is to make it back in time for the first leg against Liverpool.
Both Karim Benzema and Eder Militao picked up knocks against Valencia on Thursday 2 February. They missed Madrid’s game against Mallorca on Sunday and will also miss the Club World Cup semi-final against Al Ahly on Wednesday.
Eden Hazard picked up an injury in training on Saturday 4 February. According to AS, the Belgian is expected to be out for 4-5 weeks.
Ferland Mendy picked up muscular injury against Atletico Madrid on the 31st of January. According to COPE, the Frenchman will be sidelined for two months.
Lucas Vazquez picked up an injury against Valencia in the Spanish Super Cup on the 12th of January. The Spaniard has been recovering well and should be available later this month or early March at the lastest.
