Player ratings:
Starting XI:
Andriy Lunin: 6/10
Third consecutive start for the Ukrainian. Lunin had a very quiet night in goal with Elche failing to register a single shot on target.
Dani Carvajal: 7.5/10
With barely any defending to do, Carvajal was on the attack all night. The Spaniard assisted Asensio for the opener and was always an outlet on the right side.
Eder Militao: 7.5/10
Back in the starting lineup after recovering from injury. The Brazilian had little to no defending to do which led him to join the attack. The team is so much better with Militao in it.
Nacho: 7/10
Another solid display from the ever reliable Spaniard.
Fede Valverde: 7/10
Karim Benzema: 8.5/10
Rodrygo Goes: 8/10
Substitutions:
Alvaro Odriozola: 6.5/10 – Came on to replace Carvajal. Decent shift from the Spaniard.
Luka Modric: 7.5/10 – Came on to replace Ceballos. The Croatian scored a brilliant goal to round off the scoring.
Aurélien Tchouaméni: 7/10 – Came on to replace Valverde. The Frenchman picked up where Valverde left off.
Mariano Diaz: 6/10 – Came on to replace Benzema.
Sergio Arribas: 6/10 – Came on to replace Asensio. More first team minutes under his belt.
