Player Ratings: Real Madrid 3-1 Atlético Madrid – Copa del Rey 2022/23
Extra time goals from Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior guide Real Madrid through to the Copa del Rey semi-finals.
Atlético Madrid took an early lead through Alvaro Morata and it looked like they’d seal the win but a brilliant solo goal from Rodrygo in the final 10 minutes took the game to extra time. Savic got sent off and Los Blancos took full advantage, with Benzema giving his side the lead in the 104th minute before Vinicius put the game to bed with the last kick of the game.
Real Madrid will now face one of Barcelona, Athletic Club or Osasuna in the semi-finals.
