Player Ratings: Real Madrid 2-0 Getafe – 2021/22

Goals from Casemiro and Lucas Vazquez eased Real Madrid to a comfortable win over Getafe on Saturday night.
Casemiro opened the scoring with a diving header after Vinicius provided a perfect cross to his fellow Brazilian, scoring his first goal of the 2021/22 season.
Lucas Vazquez made sure there was no way back for Getafe, with the Galician powering the ball into the bottom left corner of the net after some nice interplay with Rodrygo.
The win sees the Capital club extend their lead at the top of LaLiga to 12 points as they look to wrap up the title as soon as possible.
Player ratings:
Starting XI:
Thibaut Courtois: 7/10
Other than a shot from Enes Unal in the final minute of the game, Courtois had nothing to do throughout his time on the pitch.
Lucas Vazquez: 8.5/10
Vazquez was a constant threat down the right flank for the home side. The Galician came close to scoring early on in the first-half before eventually scoring Real Madrid’s second with a well-taken finish in the second-half.
Eder Militao: 7.5/10
Originally a doubt for tonight’s game, Militao managed to be ready in time to play tonight. The Brazilian had barely anything to do in defence and came close to scoring with a header that drifted just wide of the post.
David Alaba: 7.5/10
Just like Militao, Alaba didn’t have much to do during tonight’s game. The Austrian did however show great pace and positioning to deal with a number of swift counterattacks from the visitors.
Marcelo: 7.5/10
Rodrygo Goes: 7/10
Karim Benzema: 7.5/10
Vinicius Jr: 8.5/10
Substitutions:
Gareth Bale: 6/10 – Came on to replace Karim Benzema and was heavily booed upon his introduction.
Dani Ceballos: 6/10 – Came on to replace Casemiro with under 15 minutes remaining.
Marco Asensio: N/A – Came on to replace Vinicius late on.
Nacho: N/A – Came on to replace Alaba late on.
