Starting XI:
Thibaut Courtois: 8/10
Made a number of big saves when City where dominating in the first half. Nothing he could do to save De Bruyne’s goal due to his line of sight being blocked.
Dani Carvajal: 7.5/10
Frustrated Grealish throughout the game with a plethora of tactical fouls. The Spaniard put in a good shift as he usually does in the Champions League.
Antonio Rüdiger: 8/10
Completely nullified Haaland’s impact on the game. The German matched the Norwegian physically and made sure he saw very little of the ball. Top class performance from Rüdiger.
Vinicius Jr: 8.5/10

Marco Asensio: N/A – Came on to replace Rodrygo late on.
Aurélien Tchouaméni: N/A – Came on to replace Toni Kroos late on. Nearly scored with a stunning strike.
