A goal from Karim Benzema was enough to give Real Madrid a 1-0 win in the second-leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie with Liverpool, and a 6-2 win on aggregate.

Los Blancos will find out who they’ll face in the quarter-finals on Friday. Ancelotti’s men will face one of Chelsea, Napoli, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Bayern Munich, Benfica or Manchester City

Thibaut Courtois: 8.5/10

Made a number of magnificent saves in the first half to keep the score at 0-0. Back to his best after his shocker in the first-leg.

Dani Carvajal: 7/10

The weak link in Real Madrid’s backline. The Spaniard made a few questionable decisions on the ball and didn’t exude any sort of confidence in the first half. Improved after the break.

Eder Militao: 8/10

Another fantastic performance from the Brazilian stalwart. Militao made a goal saving tackle on Salah and showed yet again why he’s one of the best in the world.

Antonio Rüdiger: 8.5/10

Rüdiger’s best performance in a Madrid shirt. The German’s performance was similar to the one he put in at the Bernabéu with Chelsea last season. Impenetrable at the back.

Nacho: 8.5/10

Had Salah in his back pocket for the duration of this tie. The Spaniard had a combined seven tackles and interceptions. Exceptional performance.

Toni Kroos: 8.5/10

Toni Kroos rolled back the years, putting on a clinic in midfield. The German dominated the first half of the match, leaving Liverpool players in the dust. Sensational performance.

Eduardo Camavinga: 7.5/10

Unlucky to not have scored after hitting the crossbar with a thunderbolt of a strike. The Frenchman is improving every week and put in another solid shift in midfield tonight.

Luka Modric: 8/10

Another top-notch performance from the timeless Croatian. Modric nearly scored a belter from outside the box and should’ve had an assist to his name after he brilliantly chipped the ball over Trent before unleashing a left-footed cross to Valverde who couldn’t finish.

Fede Valverde: 7/10

A tireless display from the Uruguayan. Fede Tried his luck from distance on more than one occasion and did a good job helping out Carvajal in defence.

Karim Benzema: 7/10

Not at his best but still decisive as ever. Karim missed a number of good chances in the first half before finally scoring late on in the second half.

Vinicius Jr: 8/10

Caused Trent the world of problems down the left flank and only a stunning save from Alisson stopped the Brazilian from scoring. A nightmare to defend against. Assisted Benzema for the only goal of the game.
