Real Madrid earned a crucial 3-2 win away win against Napoli at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona on Tuesday night.
Carlo Ancelotti’s men took home all three points thanks to goals from Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Junior and an own goal from Alex Meret.
Kepa Arrizabalaga: 4/10
Very shaky performance from the Spaniard who looked nervy from the start. Kepa was at fault for the first goal after flapping at the ball and completely missing it.
Dani Carvajal: 6.5/10
Carvajal was tasked with stopping Kvaratskhelia which is no easy task but the Spaniard did a decent enough job to limit the Georgian’s influence on the game.
Antonio Rüdiger: 7/10
Rüdiger managed to stop Osimhen from scoring but was beaten by the Nigerian in the air a few too many times.
Nacho Fernandez: 6.5/10
A tough week for the Spaniard who after picking a red card against Girona, gave away a penalty tonight. The decision was very questionable and Nacho will feel hard done by.
Eduardo Camavinga: 6/10
Second start for Camavinga at left-back this season. The Frenchman didn’t have the best of games and was brought off on the hour mark.
Fede Valverde: 7.5/10
Forced a winner with a thunderbolt from 25-yards out. The Uruguayan will undoubtedly be disappointed that it ended up counting as an own goal.
Aurélien Tchouaméni: 7.5/10
Another big shift from the Frenchman who made a number of very important tackles in the middle of the park. Tchouaméni has nailed down a starting spot thanks to string of excellent displays.
Toni Kroos: 7/10
A typical Kroos performance in the Champions League. The German had a 96% pass accuracy and looked sharp before being brought off on the hour mark.
The difference maker for Real Madrid yet again. The Englishman assisted Vinicius for Madrid’s opener before scoring a brilliant solo goal to give his team the lead before the break. Unbelievable player.
Rodrygo Goes: 5/10
Rodrygo’s going through a tough patch at the moment and that continued once again tonight. The Brazilian’s goal drought continues.
Vinicius Jr: 8/10
Scored the equaliser for Real Madrid in the first half with a brilliant finish from a tight angle after being found by Bellingham. The Brazilian looked sharp before tiring towards the end of the game.
Ferland Mendy:6.5/10– Came on to replace Camavinga. The Frenchman was solid and cleared what looked a certain goal.
Luka Modric:6.5/10– Came on to replace Toni Kroos. The Croatian raised Madrid’s tempo and helped the team get over the line.
Joselu:6/10– Came on to replace Rodrygo.
Dani Ceballos: N/A– Came on to replace Vinicius late on.
