Player Ratings: Levante 0-2 Real Madrid

Real Madrid go top of the LaLiga table after taking all three points in their match against Levante. These are our player ratings:

Starting XI

Thibaut Courtois: 9/10

Yet another brilliant performance. Saved everything that came his way. The best goalkeeper in the world.

Nacho: 6/10

Solid performance, solid back-up option.

Raphael Varane: 8/10

A calm and collected performance by the Frenchman. Looks to be back to his best.

Sergio Ramos: 8/10

Unlucky not to have a goal to his name. Solid as ever at the back and a threat from set pieces. A typical Ramos performance.

Ferland Mendy: 7/10

The Frenchman continues to show why Real Madrid bought him for such a large sum. Another solid performance.

Casemiro: 5/10

Yet another sloppy performance from the Brazilian. Lots of misplaced passes and rash challenges, far from his best.

Luka Modrić: 8/10

Another great performance from the Croatian. 35 years old and still dominant and classy as ever.

Fede Valverde: 8/10

Back to his best this season. Very energetic and always willing to press and fight for his team. Vital player for Zidane this season.

Asensio: 6/10

Not a bad performance but not a great one either. Its clear that he’s not at peak fitness, understandable after just recently returning from injury.

Karim Benzema: 6/10

Not the best start to the season for Karim. Missed a fair amount of chances that he would normally bury. Finally managed to score in injury time.

Vinicius Jr: 7/10

Real Madrid’s match winner. Took his goal brilliantly and was a constant threat down the left wing. Could’ve easily had a hat-trick had he took his chances better.

Substitutions:

Rodrygo: 5/10 – Didn’t affect the game since coming on.

Lucas Vazquez: 5/10No impact off the bench.

Odegaard: N/A

Isco: N/A
