Player Ratings: Getafe 0-1 Real Madrid – 2022/23
Real Madrid returned to winning ways in LaLiga with a narrow 1-0 win against Getafe at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez Stadium.
It took Carlo Ancelotti’s men just three minutes to take the lead. Eder Militao rose highest at the near post from a Luka Modric corner, flicking his header beyond the reach of goalkeeper David Soria.
It was a game of very little chances and at times it looked like a repeat of what happened against Osasuna last week was inevitable but Real Madrid did enough to take all three points.
The win sees Los Blancos move three points clear of Barcelona who play Celta Vigo on Sunday.
Player ratings:
Starting XI:
Andriy Lunin: 7/10
Hard to remember if he had to make a single save. Regardless, he’ll be happy to have earned Real Madrid’s first clean sheet in LaLiga this season.
Dani Carvajal: 7/10
Solid performance from the Spaniard who was excellent in defence.
Eder Militao: 9/10
A brilliant performance from the Brazilian who scored the winner and was rock solid throughout. The Brazilian made fourteen ball retrievals and Getafe’s forwards simply had no chance of getting past him. Excellent.
Antonio Rüdiger: 7/10
Solid performance from the German who was good on the ball and wasn’t tested much at all.
David Alaba: 7/10
Fede Valverde: 7/10
Rodrygo Goes: 7/10
Vinicius Jr: 7.5/10
