Player Ratings: Cadiz 1-1 Real Madrid – 2021/22

Real Madrid drew 1-1 away to Cadiz on Sunday evening in what was their penultimate LaLiga game of the season.
Mariano opened the scoring for Los Blancos after just five minutes. Rodrygo burst past a number of Cadiz players before teeing up the Dominican striker.
Just 10 minutes before half-time, Sobrino levelled for Cadiz. The midfielder hit a wonderful strike which took a deflection off Militao before cannoning off the crossbar and into the back of the net.
Then, on the hour mark, Andriy Lunin gave away a penalty after fouling Alvaro Negredo inside the 18-yard box. The Ukrainian goalkeeper made amends by saving from the Spanish striker.
Cadiz had a number of chances to snatch all three points but Andriy Lunin was in brilliant form for Real Madrid.

His second LaLiga appearance of the season. Lunin made a number of fantastic saves and then saved a penalty which he initially gave away. Excellent display from the Ukrainian.
Lucas Vazquez: 5/10
A decent shift from the Galician who worked hard but didn’t provide much going forward.
Eder Militao: 2/10
A shocking performance from the Brazilian. Militao was all over the place and made a number of amateurish mistakes. Worrying display with the Champions league final just under two weeks away.
Jesus Vallejo: 5/10
Third consecutive start for Vallejo. The Spaniard looked a little shaky at times, but overall he put in a decent shift at the back.
Nacho: 7/10
Marco Asensio: 4/10
Mariano Diaz: 7/10
Rodrygo: 7/10
Substitutions:
Dani Carvajal: 6/10 – Came on to replace Lucas Vazquez. The Spaniard put in a solid shift but nearly gave away a penalty right at the death.
Dani Ceballos: 6/10 – Came on to replace Vallejo. The midfielder came close to scoring and added energy to the team.
Eden Hazard: 6/10 – Came on to replace Rodrygo for his first appearance since having surgery on his ankle. The Belgian looked sharp and lively since coming on.
Juanmi Latasa: N/A – Came on to replace Mariano for his Real Madrid debut with just under 10 minutes remaining.
